18. Does GPhotospace work with proxies? For now GPhotospace does not support support proxies. We will however add this if there is sufficient demand.
19. What do you do with my Google Account information? When you enter your username and password from the GPS sign in screen, we do only two things with it:
1. We save it locally to the 'preferences' file which Mozilla / Firefox maintains. This is only so that on subsequent logins, the user name / password pair is already filled into the sign in fields.
2. We create a login message and send that to Gmail using an encrypted connection - i.e. via HTTPS.
We NEVER send the Gmail account username / password to anyone except Google servers. We NEVER send it to our servers, or anyone else's servers. Aside from Google, the user's information is thus never stored on our or anyone else's servers.
20. Can I have GPhotospace and Gmail open in different browser windows or tabs with two different accounts?Unfortunately not. Because Gmail uses cookies to track your sign-in status, Gmail and GPhotospace may get confused if you have two browser tabs or windows opened at the same time with different accounts signed in. One work around for this is to use two completely different browsers - one for Gmail and one for GPhotospace. For example, you can use Flock (www.flock.com) as well as Firefox. You will need to install a copy of GPhotospace into Flock if you want to try this.
